Ah, it is the month for all of us to remember the humble beginnings of our great Nation, and to give thanks!

On Thanksgiving, we honor not only gratitude for harvest and family, but also the foundation of a nation built on ideals of freedom, perseverance, and shared hope.

Our dinner will be prepared by Joshua Wilmouth of the SHFD assisted by the recent CIA graduates Jay Avila and George Nickas. A Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Dessert will be pumpkin and apple pies with mountains of whipped cream. Cost will be $30.00, with a free raffle drawing.

This month’s dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Social at 1800 hours and dinner to follow at 1900 hours.

SURPRISE! Mike Greensill will be providing his musical talents at the piano during social hour.
Sick Call: Our thoughts and Prayers continue for the Foxworthy family.

There will be a Post Auxiliary Board meeting at 1800 preceded by a Post Board of Directors meeting at 1400 hours on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Once again, our most valuable members, assisted by the Kiwanis & Odd Fellows, will be dressing Maon Street with “Old Glory” on Friday, November 7th and taking them down on Wednesday, November 12th. Meet at Post at 0700 hours.

FYI: Please consider signing up during the monthly dinner to work the Gentlemen’s dinner which will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
