Happy Holidays

The Post Christmas dinner is Wednesday December 11, 2024. Joshua Wilmouth of the SHFD will once again prepare a prime rib dinner with all the trimmings for us along with his famous cheesecake for dessert. He will be assisted by Ethan and Connor from the CIA.

Social hour begins at 1800 and dinner 1900.

From the Auxiliary…What is better this time of year than homemade cookies! The Auxiliary is sponsoring a “Cookie Walk” during the social hour before the Legion meeting. Donations of 24 (or more) homemade cookies are welcome. Cookies will be for “sale” for a donation of $10 a box.

Remember to bring your extra calendars for a donation to the Yountville Veteran’s Home.

The Adjutant sends… We still have forty members unpaid for the fiscal year which began in July 2024. It would be nice to complete membership by New Years.

The Board will meet Mon Dec 9, 2024 at 1600.

Wreaths Across America… Dianne Fraser spoke at our Thanksgiving dinner meeting about National Wreaths Across America Day. Scanning the QR code on the flyer will direct you to the St Helena Cemetery for your wreaths. Volunteers to place wreaths are needed on Dec 14th at the St Helena Cemetery 9am-noon.

The Castle Lobster Fundraiser was a fun and successful evening. Mille grazie to all that participated. Our next Fundraiser will be the Duck Dinner Mar 5, 2025.

The Post needs a couple or individuals to relieve Nick and Marilyn Coy of their Boys and Girls State responsibilities. If interested please see Nick or Marilyn.
